As promised I am posting the recipe for my Oatmeal Protein Bars. I have made these for a lot of my clients and classes and they are always a hit. You will need this treat after a couple of weeks of our NO SUGAR DIET CHALLENGE. Remember that I don’t want you to have any kind of honey or fruit after 3pm so try to keep these to earlier in the day.
Oatmeal Protein Bars
2 cups old fashioned oats
2 scoops chocolate protein powder
1/2 cup Adams natural peanut butter
2 tablespoons of cocoa
1/3 cup of honey
Dash of cinnamon
Splash of milk
*you can add raisins if you would like
Mix everything together. I use the splash of milk to make the mixture a little more wet. Push the mixture into a 8×8 baking dish and make sure it is packed down tight. I like to stick it in the fridge for until it is cold. You can also cook it and make it hot like a cookie. I cook it in a 350 degree oven for about 8 to 10 minutes.
