Good afternoon my friends. So, I want to have a little coffee talk with you for a couple of minutes.
Does anybody else have a love/hate relationship with Instagram? Is it only me?
Your reason may be different from mine, so, let me explain my thought process to you and why I want to take things in a little bit of a different direction.
First-How many freaking booty’s can I see in a 10 minute span? 100? 200? 50 million? Geeze, I didn’t realize that having my booty in a G-string was the sign that I have made it to top health. And let me tell you…I HAVE SOME SERIOUS BOOTY TO SHOW. #Badonkadonk
Second-Why is it that I see countless pictures of AMAZING BEAUTIFUL MUSCLES but nothing about life after you have muscles? Do muscles make everything in life livable? Are muscles the one thing that make you happy? Because I see countless clients that even when they achieve those muscles they wanted, they still aren’t happy. 🙁 Isn’t that ultimately what our goal in life should be, to be happy?
Here is my opinion and solution(and I realize that my opinions do not matter that much).
When I was younger I was a fitness whore. Any fitness magazine, show, gym, pic, I wanted in. As I have gotten older & wiser, truth has set in, and I have a desire to share how I live a healthy life right in the middle of extremes.
There are so many blogs and pages that you can get hundreds of workouts, ab pictures and recipes. And although I love all that, my thoughts and feelings have changed so much about health and fitness and I want to discuss and talk about it. Can you blame me? People grow and change, who knew?! 🙂
I want to talk about changing hormones. I would love to discuss the proper form of a training session. The effects of overtraining and depleting your body for long periods of time. I want to tell you about my 7 kids (teenagers at that), and how I teach them about living a healthy life. Balance, having a healthy mind, listening to your body, and feeding your soul as much as you feed your body. Relaxing and recovery. Friends, fashion, and being crazy. Beauty really starts on the inside. Romance and keeping a relationship strong is super important to me, isn’t it to you? I want to keep things REAL and RAW. Cause I feel that all of the above make for a ‘HEALTHY‘ person.
Someone once told me…
“Life is a pie with 100 slices. Each slice is something that makes your life happy and fulfilled. Even if you lose one of those slices, you still have 99 slices of pie that you get to enjoy.”
I still am planning on posting workouts and challenges, because keeping the body in shape and strong is my forte. But as a bonus, let’s add in some posts about all the 99 other things that you should fill your life up with, that make you a well-rounded, TRULY HAPPY, fantastic individual.
